Adopting the DEIB Lens: Startup Cohort Learning with Hustle Hunters

NOTE: DEIB = Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

This coaching cohort is designed for folks who feel responsible for driving DEIB initiatives internally in their organizations, and would benefit from coaching by a seasoned DEIB professional who can help them zoom in and out, setting internal goals while also applying new learnings to current work streams in real time. This space can be lonely, so we're also fostering accountability and community through a cohort based model.

As startup leaders, we're often responsible for ensuring that our workplaces are diverse, inclusive, equitable and that our teams feel a sense of belonging... in addition to the 500 other things on our plates.

We need to hit the trifecta of:

- doing inclusion work well

- learning what we don't know

- getting sh*t done, movement

We're often held back because we don't know the answers, don't have the confidence/authority to speak on big topics, or it just takes too much time to put together a really well thought out response.

Join other leaders in the transition from being someone who cares about making your startup "diverse" to a confident and equipped leader who is supported and ready to apply the DEIB lens to important org building work.

We'll learn together and move the needle internally through the intersections in venn diagram of our trifecta needs:

- real time drafting and review support

- professionally trained support

- community

Facilitators:

Katherine Castro is a renowned facilitator, truth teller, licensed counselor, and currently works at Hustle Hunters as the Associate Director of DEIB. She has been translating DEIB themes for direct application within companies like X Moonshot Factory (part of Google's Alphabet), and more recently with early stage startup teams that are looking to weave DEIB across the foundations of their businesses. She's presented on these themes to audiences of hundreds and is looking forward to this more interactive session where we'll begin to apply the concepts we're learning during our time together.

Nikki is a seasoned startup builder who understands the competing priorities leaders face as they build equitable organizations at the pace of innovation. She's co-built this curriculum to address the first hesitation points that she (and most teams) face, supporting growth with a combination of theoretical knowledge and tactical practice within a safe community setting.
