Full Cycle Recruiter @ Hustle Hunters

About the Company

Hustle Hunters is a recruiting firm that supports early stage startups as they build out their foundational teams. We place across functions (sales, success, marketing, engineering, operations, product, etc.). We are a very small team and like to balance collaboration with autonomy. We focus on equity in our process and are constantly learning and working to improve our practices and invest in DEIBJ resources on behalf of our clients. Much of that learning is around understanding how traditionally underrepresented groups thrive, so that we can coach startups towards removing potential barriers and centering equity to bring on the best teammates. We partner closely with our clients across the early (Seed - Series A mostly) startup space, and get to be a core part of their early growth. Many current clients are also impact-driven, with the majority founded by womxn (current clients include Searchlight.ai (YC19), Strongsuit.co, Villyge).

Core Values:

  • We’re solving hard problems and will use our GRIT to keep grinding despite setbacks, staying motivated by our mission and the people we work alongside

  • We prioritize MOVEMENT, knowing we’ll make mistakes, have wins, iterate and learn along the way

  • We are all HUMAN. We practice this understanding leaning on empathy with ourselves, teammates, partners, candidates, and others

  • We are always LEARNING, building our individual and collective knowledge

  • We center EQUITY as the foundation of our work

About the Role

Our clients are doing big, innovative things and need amazing talent to support their goals. We’re growing our team and looking for a full cycle recruiter who will scope, source, coach and present candidates to these clients as part of their path to success. This person will work on roles already part of the Hustle Hunters client base (healthy pipeline of current roles will be handed to this person upon onboarding), as well as any clients and roles they source and bring into the business. This person will work closely alongside the founder and other recruiters towards optimizing practices and tools across the business, but have autonomy in terms of work schedule and process. Building relationships with clients and candidates, and especially translating (and potentially challenging) a client’s vision into the sourcing process will also be a core part of this role. Open roles we work on might include entry level, mid-level and senior-level candidates across Sales, Engineering, Product, Marketing, Design, Customer Support, Customer Success, Operations, etc. This role reports directly to the Founder and will be working towards milestones relating to both volume and quality of candidates sourced, as well as overall successful placements and revenue targets. Strong opportunities for growth professionally as the business continues to expand.
